This is a new cycle challenge that is in its first year and is based around Co Cavan and is scheduled for Sunday 1st August 2010.There are 3 different routes available 100/140 and 185 kms routes that brings you through 5 counties in total(185 route).

The plan for this event is that it will grow in size each year and become an annual national event on the Irish Cycling circuit. If you are interested email the 'Express your Interest' link on the left side of the page.

Looks good will give it a go next year. Only back from 2 weeks hols the days before and dont think i,ll be in a physical state to do any distance cycling.

Just let one of the head guys in the club know and he will tell people on Saturday, they are based in Meath so would think you will get a few from there.

That looks good all right, but I won't be ready to do it this year. Took a look at the website, clicked on the Novice route and the first thing I see on the map is Greenland! Hang on a minute!

Only problem with that is that it's the bank holiday, will probably reduce possible numbers available for it.
