CA M4 for trade

I have a Classic army M4 for sale here. It has many upgrades, here are all the upgrades High speed gear set Polycarbonate piston and piston head High speed motor Low resistance wiring Spring guide Steel bushings Shim job Hop up rubber/bucking Anti-reversal latch. if you were to add up the cost of all these upgrades and the gun it would cost 316 euro.

It has two problems. One is the mag release catch is broken but a new one would cost a few euro from mia. And the second problem is this gun is only firing full auto at the moment but its meant to be an easy fix.

Would be interested in trading this gun for a Co2 pistol, but still try me with other trades as I could be interested.

I will include a CA metal hi cap mag with this gun too but it does NOT come with a battery and charger too.

Hi there, The body is ABS, but I can assure you that it wont be braking on you ;)

I'll pass, thanks. Good luck with the sale. (I'm surprised it's still here!)

    Hi,
I know this is probably too low but considering the fact that the gun has been up here for a while and the fact that there are problems with it I'll offer E60 including delivery.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 702 ✭✭✭Andrewrob

Make that 80E and we have a deal :)

The gun was originally bought From another user on boards and he did all the upgrades in this. No I do not have the original parts that were replaced . Hope that answers your question.

    Hey man, back again.
Sorry to be bothering you with so many questions, but I am still interested so it could yet mean a sale.

Can you tell me what the inner barrel diameter is exactly?
Have recently been able to measure the fps?
When you say it is stuck on full auto do you mean semi-auto is not working, but once the trigger isn't pulled the gun isn't firing?

Finally I'm just going to PM a question about payment options - for mods or others reading this I AM NOT DISCUSSING THE SALE, I just don't like to have personal details broadcast. If a mod thinks this is not fair please get in touch.

I cant get the exact diameter of the inner barrel but its a blue upgraded one from what I can see. No I have not recently been able to measure the fps because the mag catch is broken so I cant fire bb's properly thru it yet. No the gun is firing , its just when I turn it onto semi it still fires full auto!

Cool. Well then, I guess I'll go for E80 including delivery if that can be done. if gerairsoft has a better offer fair enough though. Thanks for all the info regardless.

Not a chance of me going down there!! Its only like 4e extra for postage

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41 natpred

Tell you what so, if postage is that value, send it down. I'll have a good look at it. If I like it I'll pay you the E84 for the gun and the delivery inclusive. If I don't I'll pay the E4 to post it back to you and you haven't lost out at all. That's not a bad deal is it?

Im not sending it until the payment is received

I'm just looking to have a fair look at the gun, I don't see the problem, but sure nevermind so man. I think I'll bow out. If there are known issues with the gun I don't want to be taking chances. thanks for talking to me though, seriously, and best of luck with the sale.

I run the risk of you getting the gun and not paying me a penny that is the problem

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41 natpred

but sure lad, by that logic I run the risk of paying you and not getting a gun. By that process of thinking no one would be able to buy or sell on the boards at all.You gotta have a little bit of trust too like.

the only risk in the deal I'm offering is that I won't like the gun in which case I'll post it back and you won't have lost out at all.

If you pay me and dont get the gun you can get the money back by forming a dispute. If I dont get any money I have no way of getting the money back . Nobody on boards ever sends the gun to the buyer without a payment being received!!!

And natpred for a CA m4 with upgrades you cant go too far wrong at 80E when it started off at 190 and its real cost after all the upgrades is in the 300 e mark

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 41 natpred

I know its a fair good gun by that reckoning. The mag catch is also broken and the semi-auto mode isn't working. Even though those are small things it could mean other things will go wrong.

You've also had it up here for a long time and I'm coming to you with genuine interest on it, so maybe think about the arrangement I've offered.

I'll tell you what, I'll rethink it so and consider the E80 including postage price, no promises. Maybe you think about the arrangement I've been offering too. If the gun has nothing else wrong with it you have nothing to worry about. If it is genuinely that good and the two problems you've mentioned are all that's wrong with it then you've got a sale and you've finally shifted the gun and have cash in your pocket. If I feel the gun isn't worth it I'll post the gun back at my own expense (so long as you can quote me what it will cost before you send it down) and you're not out at all. Then you can go right back to selling as you are now. This is a very good chance to sell a gun you've been trying to sell for a while.

As for the fear that I'll run off with the gun without paying for it, I could say that I have a fear that I'll pay you for the gun and you'll run off without posting it :) there has to be a wee bit of trust there.

For the record, no ill feeling to you either man, this is just negotiating.

Well Im just saying that I really dont want to risk being screwed over by you, not saying you would its just you seem new to boards with your low amount of posts. I have sold to many people and they have all been very pleased with me so you can look at some of my past sales to see if Im reliable or not. You should use paypal because if the person does not send something which you paid for you can dispute it. And btw I said the offer was 80e exc p&P

Ah well, looks like this is going nowhere so. I'm afraid if I can't see the gun I can't go for it so I'm afraid I'll withdraw all interest in the gun.

Best of luck with your sale, like I said before, and hopefully you can find someone else to take it.
