i failed 4 exams and it says my overall results is a fail.......if i pass dem all in august do i go in2 second year???

yep, examiners usually mark a little more easier in the repeats, you should study the repeat papers for these exams and compare them to the normal exams, sometimes they might even give you some hints in the paper (for my course anyway). Good luck, you'll be fine!

Passed with a 2.1, I can start enjoying the summer now :) My idiot of a lecturer from semester 1 still never changed my results after giving me someone else's mark, but I presume that can all be sorted relatively easily.

Hope everyone else is happy with their results!

Really keep on it, repeat e-mails until it is sorted. Had a similar thing last year and each person was trying to fob me off onto someone else. Contact the lecturer and registry and get the lecturer to confirm your new result with the registry.

    Hey guys,

I only failed interdisciplinary science, will I need to pay the repeat fee even though all I have to do is an essay?

i got 34 in one module and fairly well in everything else... wondering if there's anyway to get it remarked or anything?

I'd say you are **** out of luck, over 35 and you probably would have compensated. Maybe get the paper re-marked but I doubt you'd be lucky.

I've seen a few people get marks like that compensated in the past. Talk to the lecturer in question, there's always a chance they'll let you pass if you keep nagging them.

Does anyone know the story with what you do when you were sick for some of your exams, I've passed everything bar 2 due to illness where two of them have "I" beside it?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 133 ✭✭argonaut

So an F (yeah, those went... not good) means I've got to (somehow) repeat the continuous assessment and the exam, right? Yikes.

    Anyone know how that works?

All going swimmingly with some suprising 70%+ thrown in until:

    "35% - Re-sit Coursework Element"

Dang. Knew i should of made an attempt at that 25% assignment

Anybody know what the story is with this? Do have to pay repeat fees etc?

Talk to Odilla about it. AFAIK you dont pay a repeat fee since it is a CA module and not an exam

Im still baffled how people fail this module!

speaking of fails, Failed Maths by 3% and Thermodynamics by 10%. I knew I'd fail thermo but I'm shocked about maths. Thought I did more than enough to do well in that exam!

The difference is that F means you failed the CA and written exam and R means you failed just the exam.

S means u failed the CA but passed the exam.

That's as far as I know. But 99% sure

all I get is this... Even though I leave it open for hours.

"During results time you may experience a delay before your results appear onscreen. Do not reload this page. Please be patient - the server may take a little time to process your request, but your results will appear.
