    The back page of the Sunday business post is always a good place to find a few names / emails in people looking to invest.

    Generally they are looking for established businesses but who knows.

    More info would help. when you say serious do you mean millions? what sector is the business in?
    EI, the enterprise boards and Business Innovation Centres might be good places to start.
