Windscreen wipers not moving

Hi, have a problem with the windscreen wipers not moving in my car (99 Ford Focus), only noticed this morning, am certain they were working fine last night. Motor sounds like its trying to lift them but not a budge out of them... any thoughts? Cheers

If you can hear the motor working and no movement.

I go check to see if the nut that holds the wiper arm on the motor

might have come loose. Common enough problem. With any luck the nut

will be lying in and around the wiper-linkage area.

So find the panel, remove and have a root.
