    iv been lucky with prizefighter, backed barrett at 15/1 to make the final and had willie casey at 11/2 to win the lot. i didnt get a chance to get to the bookies today but would have done Peter Fedorenko as i havent a clue about any of them lol.

    Assuming jeff evans can get past your pick im going with him and sam horton :)

    I'm only going off info i found online which is very little haha.

    Enjoyed the tournament. I don't know how the bookies had David favorite going into the final, he had a style that suited Mendy. Mendy was just too quick and slick for him and was only going to be beaten by a pressure fighter.

    Glad Mendy won anyway, he was confident in his own ability without any arrogance about him, good to see someone at 19 do so well

    Anyone else think Glen McCrory was way off the mark when he said that Horton shouldnt have been stopped so early by the ref?

    He had taken at least 3 big hits in a row, was bent over with his hands down by his side when the ref stepped in. He was in no way able to or trying protect himself and i think Mendy would have seriously KO'd him if it went on another 5 seconds.
