After market units, or are you thinking of Opel ones?

Opel ones would be a pain in the hole unless the wiring for the fogs is behind the bumper. If there is wiring then all you need along with the fogs is a switch. If there isn't wiring, then you'd need to wire them somehow, and get a switch.

I once wired after market fogs to a car. Didn't bother getting the wiring kit to go with them - how hard can it be?

Mounted the fogs on the bumper, connected some wires to them, managed to get the wire through the tiny gap in the buklhead, but I was flumoxed as to where to wire it in to

The only place I could find was the little light that illuminated the switch for the rear fogs, so it got wired there. Only problem with that was it was taking too much current with the fogs on for the car so if you came to a standstill (in the fog obviously) then the car cut out :o

Main point of the story is that it's a bit more complicated than just buying the Fog Lights themselves.

I think the bumpers are actually different for those with or with out foglights.

Yeah they're different alright, but i can cut out the sections in the bumper i have. My problem is connecting up the fog lamps electrically

I'm just wondering if anybody has done this car before.

    Thanks
