I've just recently got the HD + box and on channel 135 there's a delay between the sound and the pictures.

It's not happening on any other station. Any solutions bar ringing UPC...?

It is happening all the time or just some of the time? How noticable is it? Have you tried rebooting the box?

    Definately ring UPC about.

Came across this for the first time last night, never happened before,as far as
I am aware. It is only on BBC HD.It wasn't even constant,it would be fine for a while, then slowly go out of sync ,then jump back again.

There is a "delay" setting on the box which is used for assisting in syncing the audio and video on the HD channels. It is in Menu>Settings>TV settings and then HDTV audio synchronisation.

A similar setting is often found on AV receivers as they also have can have issues syncing the audio and video.

It is all to do with different processing speeds and delays etc on audio versus video on cable boxes, AV amps and TV. With a lot less information in the audio stream it tends to be processed quicker.

Sorry for the delay in responding...I've only intermittent internet access at the moment.

The problem is there all the time and only on this channel. I was watching both World Cup and Glastonbury and there is a delay when watching on BBC HD 135 but no delay when watching on BBC1 108.

I haven't noticed this on the other HD channels, but will verify this evening.

Anyone else solve this problem? I found the sync setting but it's already maxed out and there is still a very distinct delay between the audio and video on Eurosport HD. Same on BBC HD

I noticed it for the first time last night on Eurosport HD. Havent had time to take a look to see if I can fix it, and I cant say Ive ever noticed it before.

Definately not happening on BBC HD for me.

The BBC HD lag is not so bad. Only slightly noticable. Eurosport HD is most definately noticable.

Did you get a solution to this? I'm getting it more so on BCC HD than other stations. I've tried messing with it in the settings but can't get it quite right.
