    Hi,

    Some boisterous young men smashed 3 windows in my car last week in Dublin. I rang Autoglass to get a quote the next day and they said €450!! No thanks I said then they said hang on I'll ring the "office". She came back and said they can do it for €300. Why the drop. I left it and drove home with the wind in my hair. Lovely!

    Does anyone know if I could get it sorted cheaper? Or if there is any other places in Galway?

    TIA

    I went to western windscreens in westside business park last november-ish

    Don't know about prices since it was just for some chips in my windscreen covered by insurance, but the guy I dealt with was really sound. They'd be worth getting a quote off of anyway.

    Try Autoglass here, they may drop more in price.
    Also check your insurance, it may be covered.

    Galway -> Motors.

    A little late now but glass cover is always a worth while extra on your policy if you do not have it included.

    Alternatively you could try and find a similar car in a scrap yard but alot of hassel involved.
