Whats the best way of getting rid of pigeons from the roof of a 3 story building, they hang about during the morning / day making noise and creating a mess.

A cat wouldn't be able to access the heights, Is there any type of deterrent available on the market?

There's an electronic device to get rid of them. Think it makes the sound of a hawk. A local feed merchant has one is his store to keep pidgeons, crows and other small birds out. I'll enquire as to the name of the device - should be in there at the weekend.

Legalities and the fact that its a residential area rules this one out.

A good aim with a sling shot maybe. :)
