please suggest a suitable car please

i am really stumped as to what car i should buy.. ive been all over the country looking in show rooms, done deal, carzone etc...

my suitation is this.
girlfriend expecting twin so boot space for a double buggy plus carry cots is needed
do a nice bit o driving for work...bout an hour n half a day, 5 days a weeks
would like some thing with a bit of poke and a back seat deeper dan a mk4 golf... with iso fix... the car seats we got are so big i have to let the seat forward to dirve n fit them in at the same time..

help...:(

on a budget up to 6,000

If I'm not mistaken (and I could be) that car was sold from deerparkmotor group about 18 months ago with 105K miles and a very full and complete service history.

Oh I wouldn't be recommending that particular one..just Octavia VRS' in general, I love them

As do I :D

I had a few weeks with a basic 1.4l Octavia last of the line 2005 model and basic and all as it was I really liked it the only thing I didn't like was the seats and the fact the rear wiper only wiped a small amount of the window.

Thats like manna to some people around here (myself included :P ). Look no further than an Octavia OP! The boot space is seemingly endless!

Mark 1 Octavia is really tight in the back. Boot might be huge but the rear seat space is very limited...

not sure about isofix seats....
but roomy, comfy to drive, a bit of poke well thats all depends on what u consider a bit of poke..
