Small claims court location , if seller 150 miles away?

If a buyer buys something by mail order from a seller 150 miles away, and wishes to bring them to the small claims court, would the court meet close to the sellers or the buyers location ? The dispute is not over a fortune, and neither side would presumably want to spend the best part of a day attending the others location.
I cannot see the reply to this on www.courts.ie

Neither party needs to attend, the court makes contact and they just respond. If they fail to respond, the court makes a decision without them.

Thanks for that, but if it goes to court it says "you will need a very good reason for not being able to attend or go ahead with the case on that date"

Quote "You will receive a letter from the Small Claims Office telling you the date and time of the court hearing and the location of the court itself.
If you have any difficulty with attending court on that date, notify the Small Claims Office and the respondent immediately. You may ask to have the date adjourned, or put back, to another date. Only the judge can make this order and you will need a very good reason for not being able to attend or go ahead with the case on that date. If you cannot attend yourself, you can send a representative to make the request to the court on your behalf. "

Does the court usually meet in the sellers nearest court or in the buyers location / nearest court, if they are say 150 miles apart ?

It will be the court where you filed the complaint, so it would be your local court.

It's not. It's the district court in the jurisdiction of the respondent.
I sent mine to Dun Laoghaire and it was sent on to Cork where the business was instead.
It wasn't any hassle, all happened seamlessly.
