    Hi,

Does anybody know what the price of the iPhone 4 will be when released in Ireland?

Will it €499/€599 for the 16/36 gigs, or will the be the Euro equivalent of the price in the UK?

    Regards.

I doubt even the carriers themselves are 100% sure yet. It's all speculation.

My guess is between 449 and 499 for the 16GB and 549 to 599 for the 32GB for the sim unlocked version.

Based on other Eurozone prices, it will be about €620 to get the 16GB SIM-free from Apple. I can't see O2 subsidising their pre-pay model by a €100, so it won't be the same price as the current 3GS.

So I reckon it will be around €550-570 for the 16GB on prepay. Add on another €110+ for the 32GB.

slightly OT, but do you know if i buy the iphone 4 sim free from Apple in Canada (confirmed they're selling it Sim free in July) will the warranty work in Ireland? I've heard that iPhone warrentys are not worldwide like the iPods are?
Yeah, the iPhone currently does not have a worldwide warranty. However, I was under the impression that the reason for this was because the iPhone was sold and subsidised by different carriers around the world. So I'm not sure if the fact that Apple have taken to selling it SIM-free on their site might mean they would be more flexible about the warranty.

    No chance.

Most likely 620 EUR and 750 EUR, or 550 EUR and 650 EUR for PAYG
