Girlfriend picks spots?

Do all girlfriends do this?

She routinely picks out spots that I get on my back and stuff. I'm not covered in acne or anything, she just insists on grooming me this way. is this normal? This happen to anyone else?

That is not really that unusual dude! its happened to me with 2 girlfriends! GF now doesn't tho so all good Enjoy those little moments :P

Not something I'm into myself but I definitely know of other people who get a sense of satisfaction out of squeezing someone else's spots.

Having said that, if it bothers you don't let her do it.

sometimes my bf does that to me,haha i like it. i tend to like 'grooming' him too, picking things that might be stuck in his hair, getting a lose eyelash etc.haha

monkeys clean and pick at each other dont they? i guess we the same but dont realise it haha

I have never 'groomed' a man. I find it repulsive tbh.

I had a boyfriend who used to untangle my hair with his fingers, until I begged him to stop. Seriously. Stop.

Ugh the thoughts of someone's dirty nails squeezing spots that aren't even theirs :eek:.

If you're comfortable with it though, it's all good?

If you're uncomfortable, politely ask her to stop.

Apart from the odd ''ow!'', it doesn't really bother me. It's just that I said to to a friend, and he said that his girlfriend did it too. We shared a moment:D

So it seems that a good number of girlfriends do it, not just our two.

Ha ha! I'm a "picker"
My brother used to be covered in them ... my sister and I would hold him down and get busy!

My OH doesn't have any.. and the odd one he gets, he prefers me to stay away from, I usually respect that...

Not sure why some females do this..ya, maybe the grooming thing..
I know its gross, but just can't help myself!

Take it as a sign she loves you .. you can only pick the spots of those you hold near and dear!

my ex bf used to do it to me. i never asked him to do it, i did find it extremely odd as nobody ever did that to me before. as i normally used to do it myself with a sterilised tweezers, not fingers. he would just pick everything on my skin, bits i didnt even know i had, when in bed cuddled up.

although odd, i felt comfortable after a while and didnt even notice him doing it after a while. it was strange, but i felt, wow, we are so close that he even wants to pick my spots.

Yeah, my husband's a "squeezer". (He says never to "pick" spots, always squeeze them. Then I tell him I don't want to hear anymore about spots.) Both of his parents were, too. I did find it odd but, judging by all the responses here, it's not odd at all!

The thoughts of someone picking/squeezing my spots or me picking/squeezing someone elses spots, make's my stomach turn.

My ex bf told me his brother gf picks/squeezes his brother spots, but my ex-bf found it disgusting.

As for it being normal in a relationship, well, what one couple consider normal another couple will consider strange, it depends on the couple tbh.

If it bother you OP, tell her/ask her to stop.
