Is the divorce agreement final or can it be changed at a later date?

with regard to maintenance, there's usually a clause saying that any variation of the maintenance can be made to the District Court.

Have a read through it and see if it's there

Yes , terms of a divorce can be varied at a later date - clean break Irish style , clean break my arse !

Thanks very much for the replies! Kind of defeats the purpose if one party can go and have it ammended leaves loads of room for it to be abused!

In fairness it is my understanding that changes would be made for a significant change of circumstances only , e.g. a child with a medical condition that requires expensive treatment.
But the principle remains that terms can be varied.
