ehh it depends, its fantastic for clubfitting, but unless you were really a low handicapper looking to improve a percent or to any real launch monitor will do with a good club fitter.

For swing analysis, its good but i would perfer high speed video analysis to be honest.

I think it's a fantastic piece of kit, the abilty to compare everthing from spin rate to distance, Flight path, launch angle, trajectory and dispersion leaves little to chance.
Agree it's down to personal choice but when you're presented with all the numbers the only deciding factor is feel.

    Bumping the thread.

Love to just rent a trackman for a day.
Anyone know someone who does that?

Jaime McConnell in Meath is a TrackMan Master, Padraig Dooley in Cork is a TrackMan Level 2 Certified Instructor. Maybe contact them to find out more

Here's a link to the Trackman locator.

Great link, heading to london at the end of the month by ferry and I found this place http://www.worldofgolf.co.uk/web/guest/mobile-world-of-golf-centres

All driving range bays have protracer, and you just bring it up on your smart phone. Did I mention completley free, apart balls of course.

I know there's one in Birr golf club, so maybe ask them if you could rent it? Planning on hitting many balls? :D

I doubt someone will rent one to you tbh, they cost massive money. Think they cost in excess of 12000 euro
