Fitting an After Market Parking Sensor

Hi Folks,

Apologies if I have posted this in the wrong section - please feel free to move.

We recently picked up a second hand peugeot 206 and after a few close calls we decided to fit a parking sensor. Having reviewed some of the aftermarket products available, I decided to go with the Meta Parking Sensor. Now, I'm not particularly handy when it comes to this kind of thing, so I was planning on getting Halfords to fit it. Long story short, they kept screwing me on a time to fit it so I decided to give it a go myself.

Now it’s about three weeks later, and after multiple web searches and head scratching I am stuck! Basically, I need to find out the following:

Which wire is the reverse light wire in a 2005 Peugeot 206
Where is the neutral / earth wire in the same wire bundle.

Any advice or direction would be greatly appreciated!

earth is anywhere on the car body (look for a bolt into the body of the car , undo it a bit and wrap the bare wire around it , the reverse wire is in the light module , take off the light cluster at the backk of the car, locate the reverse bulb and its one of those wires (use a voltmeter to look for +12 volts) or if its red and black wires its the red one.

Both are connected to the reversing light bulb.
