So I’ve been asked to do a bit of research into alternative methods of imaging pc’s in my company, as our current process is pretty bad. We are using Norton Ghost 8 at the moment, and need to connect any pc’s we want to image to a local switch, which is directly connected to the main lab pc. We need to keep it off the main network at the moment, as Ghost seems to bring down the phone systems when it starts to deploy an image (another issue i have to fix).

I’ve been told to look at any other ways of doing it, but it needs to be far easier then the current setup. I was just hoping that anyone else involved in imaging pc’s could let me know how you do it in your company.
