Series by Series Threads?

This is a question for the mods. I am afraid to open any of the other threads in this forum for fear of accidentally seeing a spoiler. Would it be possible to open a thread for each series, that way, you can read about Series one (and so on) after you have watched without spoiling anything in the future?

There are threads. It's just that The Wire finished airing so long ago that they've disappeared.

These are the threads from season 1:
S1:The Wire S01E01 - S01E02
S1:The Wire S01E03 - S01E04
S1:The Wire S01E05 - S01E06
S1:The Wire S01E07 - S01E08
S1:The Wire S01E09 - S01E10
S1:The Wire S01E11 - S01E13

Alternatively, you could always start your own thread for each season after you've finished watching them. I doubt the mods would mind as new people seem to be discovering The Wire all the time.

Series 5 just started last night on TG4. You could try following that one.

Though really I think you need to start at Series 1. You need to understand how all the characters develop.

Ya, Im just finished series 2, which I thought was all sorts of awesome. Gonna just go by the series. Better that way. Though it would be funny hearing Omar speaking Irish
