If your policy says you can, it means you can.

Unless there isn't written in any other part of the policy that you can't.
    Just read the policy throughly.

i was told by quinn themselves that once you have a policy with them, has to be either tpft or fully comp NOT tp only and you have a full licence you are insured to drive any CAR not van or commercial, doesnt matter engine size once its tax'd and nct'd.

altho bien quinn saying that your better off getting a written letter from them stating that so they cant pull any tricks on you:)

You can drive other cars so long as the following is met.
    1.) Is not commercial.
    2.) Is already insured.
3.) You have permission from the driver.
4.) Is not under trade/garage insurance.
    5.) Is road worthy.
6.) Does not exceed the value of €50,000.
7.) You will only get limited cover on the vehicle i.e. your policy is fully comp but when driving anotherr car you will only have third party cover unless it is stated you have a higher degree of cover while driving other cars.

Where did you get all this conditions from?
It's up to insurance company to decide under what conditions you can drive other cars.

F.E. My insurance company states something like this.
    (...)
Any other Private Motor Car being driven by the insured provided such vehile:
    1. does not belong to the Insured or belong to his/her Employer.
    2. is not hired or leased to either of the parties described in (1.) above under Hire Purchase or Leasing Agreement.
    3. in not the property of or in the custody or control of Motor Trade Businness of which the Insured is a Director, Member or Employee.

So as you can see, only points 1 and 4 from your list applys here.
Also points 3, 5, and 7 are also included in general policy terms and conditions.

But nothing is mentioned about point 2 and 6, so it doesn't apply to me while I drive other cars on my policy.

Open drive is usually limited to you being over 25, drive other cars generally has no age limit (apart from old enough to have a full licence obviously)

This is a policy specific query - the only relevant answer is on the policy document.

    +1

OP - read your policy document and your answer will reveal itself. Each insurance policy is different
