What documents do you need to bring to dealership when buying a new car?

I'm going to buy a new car on Wednesday. Can anyone tell me what documents (payslips etc.) I'll need to bring to the dealership? Sorry, probably seems like a silly question but I'm driving to Dublin soon and will have to take everyting I need with me from home. Thanks for any replies.

How are you buying it? Finance, cash, draft?

I bought my new car with a bank draft, that is all I had to bring to the dealership. Finance will need a LOT more - generally photo ID, proof of address, etc.

    Buying it with draft also.

In this case what would you need payslips for?
It's completly not of interest of the dealer to know if you work or not.
If you pay full amount, that's all he wants from you.
