Both decent courses, but in my opinion Roganstown is a far better track and, to my eye, sits better with the surrounding landscape than Castleknock.

I`ve played both courses in recent weeks and I would say my preference would be for Castleknock. I think the condition of Castleknock is a little better. Both have excellent greens with Castleknock being bigger targets and Roganstown being quicker and more undulating.

It would be Roganstown for me...simply because of the location

I've only played both once but I think I'd side with Roganstown. Both were good tests and would have no hesitation playing either again.

I may join castle knock next year because it is closer and Roganstown has no club house - any make the move recently ?

Haven't played Castleknock yet but Roganstown was a bit of a disappointment. Heard it was a great course but it wasn't in as good nick as the likes of St. Margarets, to use a local example. The course layout was excellent, it just doesn't seem to be kept as well as some of the other North County clubs.

I not sure what part of it is not well kept apart from maybe the bunkers some times.
