Puppy has constant hiccups

My 3 month old pup gets the hiccups three/four times a day. Just like humans, if she drinks/eats too fast(??) if a bird flies out of the bushes when we are walking, if she wakes up suddenly etc? Is this normal... I never heard anyone even mention it before?

it's common in puppies (large breeds tend to suffer more), it's to do with the rapid growth of the stomach

My vet said it happens to some dogs and not others. It's nothing to worry about.
