Paypal have taken another euro from my card as I purchased something.

Thing is,I need this euro by the end of today to buy something (need €1.70 but having only 80c or so on the 3V card doesn't help)

Does anyone know if there's a chance of receiving this money today :( ?

What did they take it for? There must be a reason. If it's a refund you're waiting for, then I'd say you've no hope of it being back within the day it was charged on.

They seem to take a euro for every transaction for me...which is really annoying

Paypal charge a euro to the card so it can be verified. You get this refunded when you enter the code that paypal send in the information for the charge and as far as I know this is available off your 3V account history on the 3V site. (Normally your credit card statement is sent out saying Paypal 2367 or similar and when you put in the 2367 code in your paypal account it refunds the charge) Paypal do this so that stolen cards in theory can't be used on their site. 3V don't send you a paper credit card bill but somewhere within your account you will be able to see the paypal charge and the code to redeem.

Yeah Pat they charge 1.50 and give it back within 24 hours (lately it has been instant)

But this is another euro on top of that 1.50 charge that 3V take for some reason.

Anyway,I got the bit of money from someone else now so it's all good.

I thought you meant paypal themselves had taken the one euro. :)

3V have a €2.50 charge for any purchases for €30 - €100. By any chance is this the charge you are getting the €1.50 plus €1.00 from and then coincidentally getting a seperate €1.00 refund from the verification process ??

Sorry I really didn't make that clear.
