    Hi,
Someone I know has a strawberry/red coloured birthmark on their leg from ankle to knee. Is it safe to get a tattoo done over it?

i'm not 100% sure but i think they are quite vascular and have the potential to bleed.....

it depends on the type of birthmark...she would have to get it checked by her doctor first...also birthmarks, much like freckles, can, rarely, but still, can change into something more sinister so its important to be able to see them
