Every one come share your preverbial F*** Ups! - photos would be great!

Last Sunday, HellFire, Bray, The Village

While running for cover, i tried to switch between my MP5 and my side arm!

Dropped my pistol and ended up volleying an STI Lawman at a tree!
(Wayne Rooney could have done it better!)

As a result i fell on my back, legs in the air and open, and the RATS showed no mercy! - Inded up in the safe zone with hurt pride, sore crotch and broken pistol!

(If any one finds a 1911 slide ina bush can they PM me please? ;))

Ok, so my second Skrmish ever....

Had been running around HRTA like a mad man with Doc, got back to the safe zone and started filling my Mags (yea high caps :o ) Went to pick up my water bottle and picked up the bottle of BB's by mistake. Turned into a human 203 as I gulped a mouthful of .20 blasters!

Fearlessly charged an enemy embedded position in the first HRTA with my trusty MP5.

    And no magazine.

At LAC..crawled on my belly through underbush for about 40 yards to creep up on an opponent pinning down my team-mates..
kept telling myself the whole way up there.."make sure to check safety is off"..got to the mound beside him (about 25feet) and jumped up once he stopped firing...frightened the life out of him and as I was busy congratulating myself I pulled the trigger...you can guess what I forgot to do :D

First skirmish ever - indoor event.

Thinking how cool all the M4's and Mp5's and pistols look. The others are filling various hi-caps brim full of bb's.

Growler pulls out a full lenght M14 Match with 130 bb's hand fed into the mag:eek:. I could poke lads eyes out from behind cover with the excessive barrel lenght - easier than firing the thing.

    Sorted that out quickly.............

Probably my second ever skirmish at Hrta. Was running from cover to secure a bomb package, needless to say id had covering fire, slung my M15 over my back, sprinted acrossed, dived to avoide some incoming BBs and fell on my M15 causing seiouse destruction to the stock and everything else :P

Needless to say I looked like an idiot :o

Over at Sennybridge a couple of weeks ago at TA-Events latest. While standing behind building 20 (I think). It was declared hostile on the first floor, so I lit a Thermobaric, and was poised to throw it in.

When I was told that the building was infact friendly, so with a lit thermo in my hand I panicked and sent it flying off a nearby wall, which bounced back at me... and a fellow Chedaki from the 'Operators' next to me.

Think there was a thread along these lines before, but sure....

Playing in oakridge, I was running for cover behind one of the tents.
I jumped over the first guideline, tripped on the second one and recovered, finally reach the third, tripped over it and ended up face first on my HK416... It was an interesting bruise toexplain in work :(

more recently having a door kicked in and hitting me square in the face whilst telling lads to be carefull of the same in the office block... Really one of the low points :p

This isn't even funny, but it's the one that sticks out in my head.

At Operation: Zulu in England last year, my platoon was assaulting a fortified building with a machine-gun nest on the roof. One section was going in the front door, and my section's job was to provide covering fire from one side to suppress any defenders. We hid behind a big berm for some time, awaiting the go signal.

When it came, the plan was to rush forward to a low wall or something where we could set up a nice on-line base of fire, hopefully before the defenders had a chance to put too much fire in our direction. So off we go, across some broken rubble and then across a raised pathway thing about a metre high. I clambered up on that and had a look down the other side, where there was a messy expanse of dead ferns. I figured I could climb down slowly and carefully well within range of the machine-gun nest, or take the tiny chance there's something other than ground under those ferns and just jump. I'm pretty nimble, so I just jumped.

Of course, it was a pile of broken concrete rubble under the ferns; I lost my footing and went forward, where my right knee slammed into a pointy concrete corner. Wham!

To cut a long story slightly shorter, it was a couple of months before it was fully-functional again, I have a dimpled scar I expect to last the rest of my life, and I've been wearing kneepads for airsoft ever since. :)

Blasting about 5 friendlies at long range in GTAC at the second gathering, I was so delighted with my new madbull hop, and rpk with drum mag, that I was wafting clouds of bb's into groups of lads at stupid range.

This cloud of maybe 20 bb's was in the air by the time I copped they were friendlies, it was a lot of apologies as I moved forward and they trudged back to spawn... I tend to rack up a lot of friendlies still, but can you blame me? Everyone has an m4 and a set of multicam, they all look like baddies to me :P

Also at the same event, I jumped down into a trench, which wasn't a trench, it was a cut in the bog filled with bog water and quicksand type stuff, I went in up to my waist, had to scream for help as I sank and was dragged out. My legs were cut to ribbons from briars and nettles, and the bog water made them sting like crazy.

At the same event my boots flew apart as I was sprinting to a flag, I had to hop on one foot at full speed into a bush to stop and get out of everyones way, and I screwed them back together in the safe zone.

Then in the final game I was the only guy who found the pilot and his protection team, because I got lost on my own. We nearly got him to the extract when we were attacked, que running away, and my boot fell apart again.

I hopped into a bush and shot back until I was hit, and had to hop half a mile back from the game zone, in the mud, in a sock and one boot.

    lol fest

Rathbeggan, first Take AIM cup, I ran down from the fort on the hill, tried to hop a small sandbag wall, clipped my foot and went over.

Managed to avoid landing on my toptech 416, but did manage to basically do a running jump down a hill and land straight on my chest. Was winded for a good 30 seconds, and couldn't talk to tell people around me I was okay for a little while. Ow.

Sennybridge 2, big game, huge numbers and we are on the advance.

Trying to break from cover across an opening split by a barbed wire fence, I made the dash, tried to jump the fence, got snagged, fell and pyro went everywhere.

Gave the lads a good old lol

I was playing at MAZ at my second skirmish ever. I was at the Rural part on top of the hill, defending. If any of you are familiar with it, it has a bas on top of a steepish hill about 20 metres above the attacker (ish). There are also a few drop offs where, if you put your foot in the wrong place, you ened up sliding dwon to the bottom.

Anyway, I was defending, and there was a member of the attacking team on the ridge of one of the drop offs. I shoot at him, and then he disapears. I think he's only faking, so I flank round the side till I get a lear shot. When I finally get him in my sights, I fore a burst at him. He does nothing. I fire again, he does nothing, so I shout call you hits. I hear him shout somthing (can't really retype it on a public forum) and then I notice he is grabbing his leg.

Aparently, when he slid down to get away from my shot, he had popped his knee out of place. And then had me shoot at him with 2 burst shots.

If that wasn;t bad enough, the same thing happed in the forest leter in the day. I shot, and then I saw him role from behind cover. I thought it was a crap tacticak role, and so shot him again. Then I find He's popped his knee out again.

One of the worst days ever as far as feeling sorry for him goes. Felt like such a n00b

In Ambush, went off the beaten track, went up my waist in bog, one of my team came in got stuck and we started to get ourselves out bit by bit, we were in the middle of no-mans land as BB's flew over head. Got out and started flanking ;)

biggest blunders.... playing with a sportline:p
nah, one of mine was at G-tac last year, I chose to go around a different way to an objective (rescuing a manequin) and when I got into a position, i saw a couple of lads legging it with "Bob", and well, I get 'em:o needless to say they gave me fairly angry looks:p

I was in the Office recently, and we were clearing the down stairs offices. I had the bright idea to use my tornado grenade so let my team mate know what I was up to, pulled the pin and killed both of us instantly.. I had forgot to plug in the stopper to enable the timer, so nade went off in my hand... All we could do was laugh...

up in red barn a little while ago i was hung over to hell and got hit twice in the face within about 30 secs of seeing the other team. go back respawn and then decide to fire off a 203 in the general direction to give some cover, pulled the trigger nothing happened so went to move forwards, pointed the aeg downwards and the 20 goes off into my foot:mad:

LOL well it was a good laugh and we both took our hits :-)

Take solace in the fact that in the same game I backed into an 'empty' room and got shot in the ass.

I don't have to go back to my early days airsofting I do dumb **** all the time. Still all part of the entertainment.

Red Hammer in Pred. I am in a fort defending. Lemming is out in front with the PIG taking incoming fire. I decide I'm gonna use a frag. I pull it from the vest, call "frag out", strike it and lob it in the direction of the fire on Lemming.

Only the throw wasn't as good as I hoped. It landed ON Lemmings vest.

All I could see was him jumping up, uttering a couple of choice expletives and running. I felt like a tool.

First time playing airsoft in the new tallaght office block, pinned down on the first floor with my spawn point right behind me (would have gotten riddled making a run for it) so decided to pop my head/gun out to take a few shots and my clip flys across the corridor. it was a rental so i had no side arm.

Shooting eveything in sight is often a good strat, and can lead to some funny times if your playing with the right players :D
