    Any tips on how to synthesize the bassline on this track?? heard it on a few tracks now..

    only learning synthesis and still learning how to pick out the small things, so far im thinking a sine with a square, but is there something modulating the pitch too??

    It's easy enough to recreate. Its basically just pulse width modulation. You can get something similar by having two saw waves and detuning one of them.

    I think the one in that track though is the "Breakbeat Bass" patch for Imposcar. Could be wrong but it sounds very similar. Only they played with the envelopes a bit.
