    I remember playing this a bit at my cousin's house years ago and it was fun! But it was subject to long loading times from what I remember. Still much of a community following for this? I wanna pick it up!

    There's still a fairly devoted community for it, afaik. A lot of people switched to the Battlefield: Bad Company 2, but a lot stuck with the original. I think Battlefield 3 is in the works too.

    Whichever is cheaper? And perhaps Steam if you normally use it...
