    Cameroon -V- Netherlands
    Match 44 - Group E
    Cape Town Stadium, Cape Town
    Thursday 24 June, 2010
7.30pm BBC3 also via Red Button
    in 1080i HD FTA via M2 HD on Eurobird 9A @ 9.0°E

The Netherlands have already qualified for the last 16 of the World Cup but still they will want to give nothing away as they need a point to be sure of topping group E. Cameroon on the other hand are already out and are playing for pride rather than qualification. A draw or a win for the Netherlands will see them top the group to face Slovakia in the next round. If Cameroon beat the Netherlands and Japan beat Denmark by more than three goals (or vice versa) then the Netherlands will have to settle for 2nd place and would then be playing Paraguay in the next round.

I think the Dutch will pull this off about 2 - 0 coming to life well into the 2nd half.

Lovely finish from Van Persie. Kuyt take note.

Class from Robben, cool finish from Huntelaar.

Ah that's a pen ref. He pushed Huntelaar off the ball.

Elia & Robben on the flanks are seriously menacing. Looking forward to watching more from them.

    Just watched highlights on BBC.

The Dutch were finally troubled tonight.

Still got the victory but Cameroon gave them problems.

Anyone think the first goal for the Dutch should have been disallowed. I watced the game and Kuyt is offside and the ball seems to be played to him but Van Persie who is onside takes it but surely Kuyt is interfering with play?
