I have Parrot Bluetooth kit in my car, that my dad had fitted for me about two years ago. It's acting up on me and my dad can't remember the name of the guy who fitted it

Any idea where (preferably North Co. Dublin) I might get some help with it? It's not really something to bring the car to a garage for...

Well firstly, the little box that's fitted underneath the dashboard (under the glove compartment) fell out of it's pouch one day. I haven't been able to get it back in properly and since it fell out it's been a bit funny.

It connects to my phone alright, but it was having trouble connecting to the car. When I go to make a phone call, normally the radio cuts out so the Parrot Lady can say her bit. Lately, it would disconnect in the middle of a phone conversation, and just flip back to radio even though the call was still on the phone, which was kind of embarrassing because with my phone in my handbag, had no way of picking it up while driving, abandoning my poor caller.

Now it won't connect at all to the radio. Nothing. Nada. But the Parrot is picking up the phone.

This is my particular kit if it's any help

Edit: Just realised it only linked the main page, it's the CK3100)

I have looked in FAQ and see something about wires but I really don't trust myself not to break it even further!

Maybe take it out again and check the wires are all secured and plugged in. Have a look at the wires etc as it sounds like a loose connection. I dont know anyone in dublin but someone here will tell you. Ask him to update the software on the kit while he is fixing it..

It sounds like a connection problem with the mute cable. The wiring is pretty straightforward to check if you can get the radio and check the back.

    Eek :pac:

I might get my brother to have a look then, he did his own radio.

Would people here recommend the parrot car kit? I've just bought a new car and will need a bluetooth kit, I have an N97 but will change to a Iphone soon.
