Good to see the Irish players making the trip out. With 3 players championship tournaments been held and these been the last chance to qualify for the World Matchplay it's a chance for players to book their place in Blackpool. Best of luck to all the Irish players in Vegas.

Disaster for the Irish so far in round 2 as Willie O'Connor defeated 6-5 by Kevin Painter in an agonisingly close game. Mick McGowan loses 6-2 to Robert Thornton.

Gary Anderson beat Simon Whitlock 6-4 in the final, Whitlock beat Chris Thompson 6-2 in the other semi final.

Co Stompe beat James wade last night to win that Players Championship, Taylor was beaten by Matt Clark 6-5 who went out in the Semi next round 6-0 to Stompe, imagine beating Taylor and being whitewashed next round. so strange this game

Dolan did well again, went out narrowly to Matt Clark. Who seemed to be on good form. Nice to see Stompe win one, and Wade in the final, good to see him playing well on the floor.
