Right, I have had enough of being huge, I need some serious help to shift a lot of weight, I have approx 6 stone to loose, which i know is going to take a long long time and a lot of effort.

Does anybody have a good programme for loosing weight, I can't afford a personal trainer so am looking for any advise at all!

I know some people are just going to post the usual "eat less, move more" but I don't think that really helps, I need some education! I eat very little, but obviously of the wrong things, I never learned to cook, am a very fussy eater and don't understand most of the nutrition stickies.

I guess I am just looking for some help from you guys and gals who seem to know how to run your body well, as I don't think I have ever had my weight or body under control.

    any help/ suggestions seriously appreciated.

    thanks in advance

I joined weightwatchers & stuck to the plan *properly* 7 days a week.
I also started the couch to 5k programme to learn how to run.
    A sensible plan & buckets of determination & stick-to-it-and you'll do it.

I'd also recommend weightwatchers if your starting out that big and want a simple method to get started. I lost 3 stone and the wife lost 4 over 9 months with weightwatchers and exercise 3 days a week (cardio & weights).

The weekly meetings keep you motivated and allow you to track track your progress.

Well I had to do a lot of reading, cookbooks, ingredients. Sorted out a large portion of my diet.

Then I started helping a friend work on the farm, that shifted lots and lots of lbs.

I can honestly say working/ exercising outdoors is so much better than being stuck inside.

    Find a farmer friend ;)
