Boundry Wall Around Site?

    Hello,

I have inherited a piece of land from an uncle who passed away recently. As part of the will 2 other family members were given sites on this land. These sites have been transferred already and the land registry has been updated.

I intend on stocking this land with cattle shortly and I want to seperate my land from the 2 sites.

So who is legally obliged to fence off the sites from my piece of land? Should I have to pay for this work or should the other family members pay for this.

    Thanks in advance.

No one is legally required to fence the land.

However if your cows trespass on other people's land or trespass on to the road way and cause injuries to others, you will be liable.

It would be advisable if you are keeping cows that you fence them.

I really can't believe that anyone would ask a question like that?

Look at the question another way why should your neighbors have to pay out for you to make money out of the land?
