I got this album a while ago and completely forgot about it until yesterday. What a fool i have been, this is an incredible album. I've talked about Boy Sand a few times before but he has really tightened up on this album. On previous releases he had a dope flow, dope lyrics, dope beats but lacked in bringing it all together in places. But he has mastered his craft on The Good Sun. Everything sounds like it is in place and is very polished.

Comparing this to some of the other high profile albums this year, it's not easy as this is quite unique and would be probably classified as an underground NY album. But i found myself instantly head bobbing to it. Something which didn't happen on the likesof Em, Drake, Jay-Z (was that last year?) where I found myself trying to find something that I liked....all except for How I Got Over which was also an instant addiction.

Anyhow, i'd highly recommend this album.
