Upgraded UPC,contract situation?

    We have been with Ntl/UPC for many years,I upgraded our UPC analogue service to the Digital service about 3 months ago getting 2 DVR's installed.

    My question is,have I activated a new contract with UPC by getting the digital service installed,because I would like to cancel it.
    I was with them for years on analogue so I could have cancelled it with no cancellation charge but im not sure if I have invoked a new contract and thus will have to pay a cancellation fee?

    I would imagine you have started a new 1 year contract, but Id imagine that they are the best people to ask rather than asking on here!!!

    yes you signed up to a new 1 year contract when you upgraded
