    Hi Bunny,
I find cci stingers and cci mini mags excellent, clean and accurate, both hp.

Used to use Stingers and they were good at 100 yards plus or minus but I found Velocitor as good. Have you tried 'em?

99% of the time I put 22 subs thriough my ruger 10/22. I have used velocitors and mini mags. But actually prefer to use the subsonics, I can shoot rabbits cleanly out to 100 yrds with neck and head shots.

Using bulk pack federal high velocity out of the 10 22 at the moment. Very cheap, the gun likes them and they do the job; 25 quid for 525:).

using remington subs at the moment and find them very quiet, had cci subs before them and found it very hard to close the bolt on the rifle with them, they seemed to hav a thicker rim on them, didnt really them as a result, usually use eley subs but no dealer had them around me, being using the remy subs to good effect on crows lately on the silage ground, if i'm not using subs i usually use winchester super x's if i can get them as i found them quite good

I use Lapua subsonic. They are all coated in oil. Other brands used to sometimes get the casing jammed in the barrel after a shot. These never do.
I always use a moderator too. Just sneak along by the ditches and stay quiet. Handy.

subs & moderator. I like Remington, but they seem to be hard to get, CCI and lately Eley (they stink) - range 75 -95m handy (mostly headshots) and up to 110m with some concentration :D

Subs mainly:: But its easy to re-zero to yellow jackets if a change is needed.

The main thing to remember is that the type of rifle mechanism dictates to a large degree they power ranges that you can handle.

Most S/A 22's are designed to cycle standard velocity ammo such as CCI mini-mags.
Bolt Actions give total repeatability and hence better results than the S/A's with their range of floating parts... and decreasing upward pressure for an emptying 10 shot mag...

My S/A cycles a few brands of subsonic ammo with 100% reliability and accuracy to boot, yet in the same gun rounds like the stinger and velocitior have erratic behavior which can't easily be overcome...

The subsonic is the real deal when it comes to the 22lr. Its the only round thats not effected by sonic shockwave to some extent...

Its a real shame that we can't get our hands on any 60grain Aguilar SSS. ye ye ye i know i need a 1:9:rolleyes:

Thats a great price, I'm paying either 55 or 60 for the 500, where did you get these?, there are 3 of us usually buying 3000 rounds each time, (lots of shooting)

We only use Winchester Super X in the 40gr Subs for Rabbits, crows and maggies, great round at any distance.

    Thanks.

If you are buying that quantity I'd say you are getting ripped off big time. I got mine from halleron's in drangon co tip. Also got a box from Mick dougan in Killarney where I payed €48 for 500.
