Robust 4x scope

I seem to be quite hard on equipment (or more accurately, hard on myself and my equipment gets it in the neck because it has to come too), and most recently my ACOG replica I was very pleased with has clapped out due to water damage. It's a great scope for my purposes and I'd like to replace it with something similar, so am looking for suggestions. Requirements:
    • Can handle being thrown about, bumped off stuff I'm climbing over or through, and drenched for hours in rain.
    • 4x magnification.
    • High-profile enough to see over an AN\PEQ-15.
    • Fast-acquisition option, either by mounting a dot sight like a Docter, or less preferably by having adjustable magnification.
Rail space is limited so a dot sight with a flip-to-side magnifier isn't suitable.

    Any recommendations folks?

You could always try an Elcan, or the Specter

An Elcan Spectre has Irons ontop of it so thats handy for anything pretty close. its one of the clearest scopes ive used and holds its adjustment really well. realistically though its not going to be any more robust than a decent compatable acog and if your breaking kit now, its likely you'll break whatever ya replace it with.

The regular poverty model Elcan is coated in rubber and takes a bit of a beating, if thats any use to you, it wont be bullet proof but should stand up to small amounts of abuse. :)
