Where is the best place to get Whey Protein in Cork City.

What would I expect to pay for a tub of it.

    Thanks

Better off ordering online for best deal . Many sites including myprotein.co.uk are recommended on here.

Go here and have a look, you will save money www.myprotein.co.uk

for a 5lb tub you pay €36-37 approx incl postage.
    http://www.myprotein.co.uk/products/true_whey
    recommend choc mint

or you can buy a pouch for much less €29-€30
    http://www.myprotein.co.uk/products/impact_blend
    recommend choc smooth

for a 5lb tub of competitior brand you pay anywhere from €45 to €59
If you are going to go with a competitior brand i would recommend Reflex instant whey.

They also stock cheap vitamins and other sports supplements.

    I get mine from http://www.nutritionx.ie/

Mostly next day delivery and I'm happy with the prices. Their Pro X stuff is the nicest I've ever tasted. Almost like a proper strawberry milkshake.

€45 for a 4lb tub (60 servings) (WHEY AND GLUTAMINE)

You would think they would at least stock it in a 5lb tub like most competitiors

If you got true whey 5lb tub(90 servings) and glutamine 500g(100 servings) pouch from myprotein it would cost you the same, but better value

They do stock 5lb whey tubs.

I've tried the myprotein stuff and didn't like it to be honest. Plus I think the pouches are stupid. They never seem to close properly.

    What exactly did you try?

Its easy empty a pouch into an empty tub.

PRO X on the site you quoted only has 4lb tubs of that product. I was just saying it would probably be better for their customers to make it a 5lb tub for that price of PRO X.
But if your happy with something why change it.

I have never had a problem with myprotein pouches not closing.

that reminds me must get me some more hurricane xs :D

    GOOD LUCK
