slurry/fert on silage ground

    about to put slurry and fert on grass stubble. are there any guidlines re times between spreading should fert go before or after slurry and is there an amount of time between both? thanks

    never seen people spread lime at this time of year, ususaly after last grazing in autumn

    normally spread fertiliser and then slurry 2 days later but considering the weather is so dry might want to leave a bit longer between

    think they recommend 7 days, i usually go at 5 days, depends on the weather greatly. ideally slurry nice shower of rain then fert 3-4 days later.
    we put out fert after 1st cut the 9th june, you can still see it on the ground today
