    I feel so stupid!
So when I did my degree it had a name change the year before I started (which I only learned about recently), we were being called that class college so I believed it was another name for it.
I applied to the PGDE 2010/11 and from advice of a past student who also did it, I believed that the name of the old degree would be the same as my degree. I got offered the PGDE and have paid the deposit and am communicating with the college about registration etc... never knew anything about any problem until a girl from my college course asked me about it applying and then asked me how long it took to get the course assessed. I didn't have a clue what she was on about.
So I contacted the Teaching council and it turns out that my degree is a slightly different to the other degree as they changed a one or two modules every year of it.

Now I don't know what to do! Will I contact the college and the school telling them about the problem and reapply next year or do I continue on registration while the course is being assessed?

EDIT: What I do feel like doing is contacting the college and cancel my place and apply next year. I feel really bad that I got the place when I didn't apply correctly.... then it's another year again where I'm waiting around to apply but I've been looking at some of the Open University course that I'd eventually like to do so that I would be able to teach Maths...
