Selling on eBay charges

Hi,
My family and I have gotten loads to sell on eBay - and I've been put in charge of it all.

If there are too many charges for selling, we're thinking we should just give to charity, but we're kinda broke too. :L

So, can someone explain everything you're charged for please? I heard if you don't sell something every month then you're charged - so should I just sell one thing every month to make sure this doesn't happen?

You could always use www.adverts.ie or buyandsell.ie adverts is good since you can interact easily online and see users history etc, far less likely to have scam artists etc.

You pay a fee to list an item might be between 13 and 45 cent (from my experience) and when you sell it 10% goes to ebay called final value fee.

Ie sell a DVD for 10 euro it costs 13 cent to list and 1 euro final value fee. So 8.87 goes to you. Hope that helps.

There are also Paypal fees on the money you receive, if accepting payment by Paypal.
