    All advice will be appreciated;

    Im starting to get a project for my perfect AEG. Any fans of the Metal Gear Solid series will know why I want this model so much.

    Im looking for advice as to what system would be the best start for this;
    Its got to be full metal!

    Looks like it's fitted with a 7'' free floated rail system too. You could try and get a clone version of that as the LaRue Tac replicas are a bit pricey but very gucci and really good quality.

    You'll either have to use a PEQ box (and lose the true MSG4 look) or run a lipo in the stock tube, or if you're been shorting the Euro a few months back and are feeling minted you could always go gas blowback!

    If you go to the forum on www.arniesairsoft.co.uk (you'll have to create an account but its a great forum) there was a be thread on there somewhere about the MSG4 M4 and how to make one (I'll see if I can find a link to it).

    Oh and isn't stock and pistol grip OD or FG vs tan/FDE? Scratch that it is tan!

    Edit here's a link to a thread about MSG loadouts and guns - http://www.arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=36637&st=1160

    Another solution would be do get a Ready Mag thing, and then stick a lipo battery into a striped out mag and run the cables off there. Seen it done properly in a pic and it looked class (then I saw another pic of one doen bandy ways and it looked sh***)

    Snake used a laser PEQ box, just get a dummy one and throw a battery in it, authentic and lasers are useless anyway:P

    I reckon I'll go with a Tan stock with the battery in that, it wont quite perfect but I cant afford a Blow back m4.

    I just need to be really careful about getting the base Aeg perfect so the front sight and floating rail system look authentic!

    Cheers for the link that thread's a great help!

    you could always go with the g&g cqbs change out barrel to a standard m4 length, add a fold down front sight and swap out the stock

    That lovely - thanks, I think ill build it myself but if it get too much like hard work, i could see myself being treated.

    One question, what is on the rail system, I see the torch on the near side, but whats on the other side?

    Is the battery in the stock?

    You could put in some really nice internals building it yourself ;)

    Its a peq box on the other side to fit a battery

    Close enough but if you were gonna be a real stickler for authenticity it should be a free float rail system but that'd do the job:)
