Salary Enquiry

I've been out of the work for a long time but had an interview yesterday, just wondering if anyone has any information on salary expectations in this current market.

I've had a look at a salary survey on one of the agencies websites for 2010 and Receptionist/Administrator with 5 years plus experience would expect about 26K to 32K. I don't know if this is agency speak but would love some feedback from others on boards if poss. I'm a mature person with loads of experience so not settling for the minimum wage, I know we can't afford to be fussy but that would be a bit crap. Job advertised mentioned excellent terms and conditions but I don't know the salary - Should I be offered the position I will check first, just wanted a figure in my head in case they ask me!

To be honest, 26-32 K sounds about right to me for that sort of position.

I would actually feel cheeky asking for no less than 26K (that's if they ask me what figure I had in mind), I think that works out about 15ph. I wish I was more brave, if you don't ask you don't get I guess.
