Hello there! I'm moving to Ireland (I'm from Brazil) and I was told that I can drive on Ireland even with my Brazilian license for one year. One question I have is if I'll be able to get a car and an insurance, or I need to get a valid Irish driver permit first? I was planning to get a car, and after the first months get the Irish license.
In case I get the license, will it be a provisional license (even though I have a valid driver license for the last 12 years in Brazil?)

    Best regards
