...If they are in your sitting room at night for example.

1.Turn off the lights in the sitting room
2.Then go into kitchen and turn on the lights (moths are attracted to light so they will flutter into the kitchen area)
3.Turn off lights in kitchen / open window(if you have a garden light then you simply turn that on and the moths will fly out,if not you can get a lamp and an extender cord it needs be,and turn in on outside and it works the same.

I think this works with flys too, haven't tried it out yet.

What I don't understand is that moths are nocturnal, but attracted to light, if they like the light so much why don't they just get up during the day

Very good:). My son was woken up around 4 the other morning by a slapping sound..he lay there for ages trying to work out what it was. Turns out it was a huge moth on his lamp bulb..he battled with it for a fair few mins trying to get it out the window. Ended up beating it up 'cos it kept flying into his ears:). Massive it was...ugh!

I brought a moth home one night & couldn't get rid of her the next day, no matter how many windows I opened.

Or, turn all the lights off, open windows, set neighbours house on fire.
Your way is less lkely to get ISPCA on your case though.

A big fúcker of a moth just flew into my room a few minutes ago, biggest one I have seen anyway.

    Rest assured he's dead now.

No Lynx attracts knacker girls. Lynx + lighter = flaming moths.

No flys are attracted to poo. Just smear a line of poo along the floor toward the back door which you leave open. You'll need to hide behind something when they take the bait though as they can spot the slightest movement unlike the T-rex I believe. Once they are outside slam the door shut Oh be careful not to leave the window, you used to clear out the moth, open as they'll use this to regain entry. Hope this helps.

I cant open my back windows ever because the ****er living behind me has 26 horses in the next field that attract swarms of shít flies. An I'm serious, theres 26 horses behind me in a small field.

Telephone directories are great too. Flatten the little ****ers! ;)
Saves you the hassle of running around switching lights on and off, too.

I much prefer to swat the ****ers myself.

Another fun thing is to spread poison on fire-ant hills. Dig up the mound with a spoon, sprinkle some powder on there now that they're really pissed off - 2 hours later it looks like waterloo.

Am I the only one in AH who read the title and thought OP was telling us how to get rid of women after sleeping with them the night before?

No. Look at my last post I didn't mean tell an insect he slept with her Sister. I'm not sure that would work :p

No, but you might be the only one who didn't read any of the bloody thread before replying. Who knows?
