Question: Free bet with PaddyPower

    First off, I'm new to gambling but have gotten into it (just for the world cup ;) ) using PaddyPower online. I just place small bets >€10 to make the games more interesting.

    However for the last two days, as soon as I place the bet, a message will sometimes come up saying "this bet's on us" and no money is withdrawn from my account.

    My question is: are these free bets given out randomly? Or are you guaranteed one after you place a certain amount of bets? Does it depend how much you gamble? Surely PP aren't going to take on your €100 bet for free...

    I remember getting three of them a few months ago. Always at very small stakes. Haven't got any since.

    They are trying to get you hooked.
