apple sweetened granola?

i like to make my own cereal. ive been using maple syrup as a sweetener but i fancy trying a healthier sugarfree alternative. ive heard of apple juice sweetened granola - has anyone got a recipe for me for this?

I don't have a recipe for you, but there is one in the ballymaloe cookbook if you get get your hands on one. It had grated apple/pear in it. I had it in a friends house a while ago and it was delicious.

Possibly wrong, but I often go into bookshops and memorize the recipes I want.
