If you're planning on using the bike for commuting (which I assume you are) you should include a set of full-length mudguards too. I can't tell if the frame has mudguard eyelets front and rear - worth checking.

The prices look like full RRP. If your scheme is operated through a 3rd party (e.g. http://www.bikes4work.ie/, http://www.biketowork.ie) that's probably as good as you'll get.

hi doesnt come with mudguards, it has tyres but i was told that i needed the puncture resistant ones and as for the saddle i wanted a bigger one as i find it more comfortable. Really just checking am i getting a good deal or am i being ripped off haven't a clue about bicyles except i enjoy cycling and feel its time to go a step further and upgrade my bike.

Wheelworx and cyclesuperstore both charge 689.00 for that bike. So it seems reasonable.

You could do a search for the other stuff on those websites and see if the prices are decent.

thanks for the responses folks just rang another shop and asked could they do better , which they said they could do. so am going over to them at lunch time. Just feel that in this current economic climate i want to get value for money as 1000.00 is lot to spent for me anyhow.
