Barista Accreditation?

What can I do if I want to get some recognised training as a barista? Have been working in restaurants and cafés for a few years but it's mostly been self-training and educating myself about what I'm doing. I'd like to spend time getting some proper training that hopefully leads to a recognised cert or whatever that I can use for future work in the area. Is there anything like this in Ireland?

    Cheers.

I know that about 6 years ago I did a course with Bewleys, I was working in the catering industry at the time, it was a couple of days and you did get a certificate at the end of it. It was a very interesting course but I am not sure if they still run it.

The Irish Chapter of SCAE should be able to sort you out:
