I like it :) It's nice with a normal red filter as well as the R72. Easier to handle than the stronger IR films, but you won't get the full bloom you do with Efke or HIE stuff. I like it for portraits..

There are some badly scanned test shots of mine up at http://pix.ie/sineadw/album/375202 Wasn't really decent weather for the film when I took them though..

The SFX film will not produce as strong an infrared affect as the Rollei or Efke IR films but it can still produce nice results. An R72 or equivalent filter is required.

I agree with Sinead that its nice for portraits as it has lovely grain. An orange, red or no filter at all works well for portriats.

I've used it before aswell, it has the advantage that it's actually handholdable (ish) with the cokin SFX filter, but as pointed out above, it doesn't do IR quite as strongly as other films. It particularly doesn't do that IR bloom that people associate with IR film. Shot normally, I find it pretty grainy for a 200 speed film, but it's got nice tones so I'd be inclined to excuse that.

Here are a couple with the Cokin filter ...

And one with just a red 25a. Blew this one out a bit processing it so I have to go back a re-scan at some point ...
